I have been providing individual, group, and family therapy for the past 10 years. I have experience working with veterans, children, adolescents and adults suffering from various traumas and mental health disorders. I have experience in crisis stabilization and crisis response and I am LPS (The Lanterman-Petris-Short Act) certified.

My own personal experience of growing up in a traditional Mexican family has given me the understanding of the barriers and challenges minorities in the community face on a daily basis. I have been given the opportunity at previous and current employment to work with youth from other countries. My own personal challenges have allowed me to learn and respect other beliefs, traditions, cultures and better serve the kids, youth and families I serve. I have personally experienced trauma and understand the urgent need for cultural sensitivity and the need for community outreach and mental health services.
